At Neurological Rehabilitation Group, we are invested in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Central to this goal is our collaborative relationships with various community service providers. We partner with Head to Foot Orthotics (based in the Eastern and South-eastern suburbs of Melbourne) for a monthly clinic that is jointly run by a senior orthotist and senior physiotherapist. Here, our clients receive multidisciplinary assessments combining both physiotherapy and orthotics expertise to prescribe an orthotic solution that is tailored to the individual needs and goals.

This clinic is available exclusively to clients actively participating in a physiotherapy treatment program at NRG. Referrals are directed directly from the treating physiotherapist, which ensures that the prescribed orthosis compliments their physiotherapy goals related to mobility, pain or upper limb function. 

What does orthotic clinic services involve?

The Orthotics Clinic offers services for a wide array of orthotic devices, including but not limited to:

• Off-the-shelf or custom orthotic braces for ankle or knee support

• Off-the-shelf or custom orthotic braces for hand, elbow, or shoulder conditions

• Orthotic insoles designed to enhance foot posture

• Trial and prescription of Functional Electrical Stimulation devices

• Specialist footwear
