LAURA BLANDY

Laura's journey into neurological physiotherapy started back in university, where she explored the impact of dance interventions for adults with Parkinson’s Disease during her honours research. After graduating from La Trobe University, she began her career at Alfred Health, where she worked in various clinical areas and discovered her passion for helping people with neurological conditions.

In 2016, Laura made the move to the UK and spent several years with the National Health Service in East London, within a Community Neurology and Stroke Rehabilitation service. This experience helped her sharpen her skills in neurology while working with a wide range of conditions.

After five years in London, Laura returned to Australia and joined the team at Neurological Rehabilitation Group. She's trained in the Bobath Concept, having completed both Basic and Advanced courses, and has a special interest in Parkinson’s Disease, collaborating closely with her colleagues in the Parkinson’s service. Laura has also expanded her skills into vestibular physiotherapy under the guidance of the expert team at Neurological Rehabilitation Group. She’s passionate about providing personalised, holistic care that helps her patients with either neurological or vestibular conditions reach their goals and improve their everyday lives.
