DESIREA RODRIGUES


Desirea completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand in 2020. Following graduation, she began her career as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, specializing in the management of spine care, orthopaedic post-operative care, vocational rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.

In 2023, Desirea relocated to Melbourne, Australia, where she transitioned into neuro-disability rehabilitation. She has since gained valuable experience in both adult and paediatric rehabilitation, focusing extensively on neuro rehabilitation. Her passion lies in working with patients affected by stroke, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and persistent pain, striving to enhance their functional capabilities, mobility, and overall quality of life.

Dedicated to utilizing her diverse skill set in neurological rehabilitation, Desirea is committed to engaging patients in meaningful functional recovery to achieve optimal outcomes. She maintains a strong focus on continuous professional development and delivering patient-centered care.
