We are very excited to announce that our industry-leading New Graduate Program will continue with our second intake in 2024. You will be supported with weekly education sessions run by our clinical lead and senior staff, weekly mentoring and supervision and regular joint treatment sessions with your patients.

This position will allow you to grow and expand your skills in neurological physiotherapy over two years. The first year will focus on the management of key neurological conditions and you will gradually develop your caseload. In the second half of the year, you will choose from our 3-monthly special interest rotations. Professional development is a core value to the practice which offers:

  • An experienced clinical leadership team actively engaged in staff development
  • Generous financial support for professional development courses
  • Study leave
  • Annual objective setting
  • Regular formal and informal supervision
  • A comprehensive monthly in-service program
  • Weekly clinical education sessions and fortnightly case study discussions
  • Opportunity for monthly joint treatments with an advanced Bobath tutor
  • Pay scale in line with hospital award rates with the opportunity to earn additional bonus income from second year

Staff at Neurological Rehabilitation Group have exposure to other opportunities in research, practice development and clinical education.  The team is currently involved in concussion research at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and Monash University.  We have clinical teaching roles with multiple universities and our senior staff represent the practice on neurological special interest groups.

We pride ourselves on a team based approach and are a close knit group who love working together.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic physiotherapist with a particular interest in the neurological field to join our expanding team.

Our main clinic is in Mt Waverley where we have purpose built rooms and rehabilitation equipment.  We also have other consulting rooms in St Kilda and Eltham.

Patients are seen in any of the clinics or in their own environment ie: gym, home etc.

If you are a driven, passionate physiotherapist who is looking for a supportive, professional and fun environment to grow your neurological and vestibular skills then this is the job for you.

Applications will be closing for this position on Wednesday 11th October at 5pm with interviews occurring on Tuesday 17th October.

Some testimonials from our Staff:

“The new graduate program at NRG has been an amazing opportunity. I have felt supported and encouraged to pursue ongoing professional development every day, from supervision and doubles with experienced physiotherapists, to courses and learning both within the practice and externally. There are so many individual opportunities and pathways available at NRG due to the extensive clinical areas and services provided.

The team culture is incredibly supportive and amazing from both a clinical and social perspective. I have been lucky to have so many incredible experiences in my work life within my first year as a physiotherapist and I am excited to continue to learn and grow at NRG”

Bianca Lawrence – New Graduate Physiotherapist 2023

“Neurological Rehabilitation Group is a very special place to work, each day is interesting, challenging, rewarding and fun! I have never worked in a place where I have felt so supported and encouraged to do the best that I can for clients every day.

The professional development program at Neurological Rehabilitation Group is incredible, there are opportunities to participate in courses, internal presentations and masterclasses with lead physiotherapists, and opportunities to upskill in areas of interest. I am very thankful to work in such a supportive and fun environment with great colleagues in all areas of the practice.”
