Monday 11th April was World Parkinson’s Day on which everyday Australians were encouraged to unite to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s research. Neurological Rehabilitation Group was proud to be a registered corporate partner of Pause 4 Parkinson’s in 2016 and showed support by hosting a fundraising afternoon tea. Clients, carers, family & friends of the practice were all invited to come along and show their support in the form of a gold coin donation. A number of items also went under the hammer in a fundraising auction with proceeds going to the Shake It Up foundation to be solely directed into research.
The team at NRG would like to say a big thank you to all who donated & attended the Pause 4 Parkinson’s afternoon tea and helped us to support such a great cause. Congratulations to the individuals with winning raffle tickets on the day and to those with the highest bids on auction items who have since been notified. The afternoon tea would not have been a success without the help and support of staff, clients, friends, family and members of the local community. So thank you again, we are extremely proud to have been able unite and raise awareness & funds towards a cure for Parkinson’s.
