Undergraduate students:

Part of being committed to the development of physiotherapists is providing the opportunity for physiotherapists to supervise and educate physiotherapy students.  At NRG we can provide a unique opportunity for students to see how a large community based team operate and the diversity of our client and skill set.  We regularly facilitate placements to Monash, La Trobe and Melbourne University students.

Neuroskills Workshop – for overseas qualified physiotherapists and APC exams.

This one and a half day workshop is designed specifically for overseas qualified physiotherapists planning to sit their Australia Physiotherapy Council neurological clinical examination for Australian registration. The course aims to provide attendees with a workable framework for the assessment of neurological patients, foster clinical reasoning so that problem lists can be generated and then targeted with appropriate treatment techniques. The course involves a clinical reasoning module and multiple practical based case studies. There is ample opportunity to ask questions, practice techniques, handling and transfers, and participants will be provided with a booklet outlining materials covered.

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:
We typically run the Neuroskills Workshops three times a year, although extra courses are able to be organised if there is sufficient interest.

Please contact the office for the timing of our next course.
